I ordered it a week ago or so, and finally the complete conecpt recording of Jekyll & Hyde came today!

My school had done the show this November, and agian in May, then in Nebraska in June, and it was just awesome. It was great then, and I've had the OBC verison of it. This new one is good too, but different

Well I am glad you like the concept version. I guess you can now see why there was so much controversy in the changes to the show when it transfered over to Broadway. They cut a lot of good songs from the concept version and added in some pretty lame ones for the OBC.

Well, since my school had done it and then I recieved the OBC, but songs were missing. This one had it, so I figured I might as well get it and be happy (I had a gift card)

So by the "concept" album are you referring to the version with Colm Wilkinson or the "Complete Works of Jekyll & Hyde" 2 disc set with Anthony Warlow?

I was able to see the original production of this show in Houston before it was bastorized for tour and even more so for Broadway. The show, in its original form, was amazing and very dark. Then, it turned into a Vegas spectacle and lost a lot of its magic. I was always bummed they cut Till You Came Into My Life (it was only performed in a few of the first performances, I Need To Know and The World Has Gone Insane.

The David Hasselholf taped version is one of the most ridiculous performances of this show I have ever seen.

Call it a regime change...
