My second viewing of Legally Blonde
re: My second viewing of Legally Blonde#25

Oh okay, then that makes sense as to why I recognized her anyway as Brooke.
But yeah, I didn't get the chance to see Haven either, but I really liked Annaleigh as Margot in comparison to Becky. I'll probaby get crap for saying that, but I really liked Annaleigh's. I thought she was funnier and better in the singing. And Noah was creepier as Aaron haha

korenglish-
How is Kate Wetherhead's replacement. She is one of my favorite parts of the show and would love to hear how her replacement is.

Kate's replacement is not as good as Kate -point blank.
Isn't Elle Woods end of college, beginning of grad? so the fact Haven doesn't look like a college student doesn't matter much? and especially since her voice is amazing, which I can confirm after At this performance tonight, I have a new found love for the girl

BrodyFosse123, that's an adorable picture!!
I hope to travel to NYC this fall to visit a friend who recently moved there 6 months ago. I would love to see Legally Blonde. In a musical theatre class I'm taking, we're doing a piece to "ohmigod". Talk about an exhausting dance, but fun as can be! We'll actually be opening the MN Dance Festival this May with that piece! YAY!

i don't know.. i think she looks older.. and more importantly sounds older.. older than someone who should yell jamaica-me-crazy
like i said.. to each his own.. some people love her.. i just have a few minor issues.
and i will definitely agree about kate's replacement.. which made me sad when i saw the show

Well I saw Becky and I thought she looked actually too old for the role. Sorry, again no opinion on Haven.
I thought Kate was fine. Not quite as good of a singer IMO but it seemed like a pretty easy transition to me. There were no glaring differences so I don't really have a negative/positive thing to say minus the fact that I think her acting wasn't as good in comparison.

Re: Haven, I hate her as Margot. I think her over the top "ghetto" type performance is ridiculous, unfunny, and painful to watch. Annaleigh, Becky, and Beth are all leaps and bounds better than she is.
However, she is phenomenal as Elle. I really enjoyed her voice and acting in that part, and can understand why they hired her as an Elle understudy. I just wish she were an offstage standby, rather than playing a role that she isn't any good in.
But I guess none of it really matters since she's leaving in a few weeks anyway.
