My trip to The Producers and meeting Roger!

I'm still on my cloud 9 rush from today, so I thought I'd share my experience today with all of you. I got student rush tickets for tonight's show of The Producers. The seats were "eh" but this was my fourth time seeing the show so I knew what I was missing. It was funny to hear the rest of the audience laughing and not actually seeing what was happening. I highly recommend them though - can't go wrong with $25 tickets!

The show was superb, as always, and everytime I see it I notice new things and it's always hilarious. The entire cast was brilliant, although Richard Kind was not as strong (particularly in the singing department) as I would've liked. But he did a really nice job with the role, which I know is insanely grueling.

But of all the cast, Roger stole the show (as usual!). He was beyong amazing. I loved his interaction with Brooks - no one can do "the walk" like him! The audience ate him up and I was so happy to see him again. The best part was meeting him afterwards - he is the sweetest guy! I am super shy, and I was just babbling incoherently about how I was such a huge fan and everything. I think he thought I was insane. But he was so nice and even posed for photos and signed my Playbill. Oh how I love him!

If you haven't had a chance to catch Roger as Leo, I urge you to try and go. Before this, Hunter was my favorite Leo out of the ones I've seen (Andy Taylor, Matthew, Hunter) but now Roger is definitely the top.
