My upcoming trip to NYC

Ok it's in less than 2 weeks and I'm excited! I'm coming for the AACT Convention but I have super packed our shows! Here's what we're going to.

July 8 - 13th

Tuesday: Gypsy (saw it at Ravinia and this past May but have to go back.)

Wed: 2pm Hairspray
Wed: 8pm Wicked

Thursday: 2pm A Catered Affair
Thursday: 8pm Young Frankenstein (included with our convention)

Friday: Boeing Boeing (excited about this one.. I'm usually into musicals more but looks and sounds hilarious!)

Saturday: 2pm Damn Yankees (Super excited for this one!)
Saturday: 8pm Xanadu

Plus, we're hoping to attend a talk show or two but we'll see..

Your trip sounds great! A nice list of shows.

Whenever I am in the city, I see at least one talk show. If you plan on doing standby, get there VERY early. In the past I have done Regis and Kelly and The View. I have had tickets for them both once, and then I also tried their standby another time getting there around 5:30am. Also, I've done Mike and Juliet (W. 47th).In my opinion, there's is the best because they let you sit down before the show, and also give you breakfast.

Regis and Kelly and The View also give breakfast too.

Thanks, we've done both in the past... Actually have tix to Mike and Juliet On Wed. However, still hoping for the others. We'll see..

You should see: Spring Awakening and Chorus Line.

I've actually already seen "A Chorus Line" and have seen it twice.. I'm going to pass on Spring Awakening.. I'll catch it on tour at this point.. Thanks for the suggestions though.
