Has anyone heard of this show? I recently came across the cast recording online and thought it sounded beautiful. Just wondering if anyone has the CD out there and thinks it's worth buying. And has anyone seen the show performed?

I actually had the opportunity to do this show last year, singing in Pegasus and a few others. I must say that this show was one of the most musically fulfilling opportunites I've ever had to perform.

I would recommend that anyone interested in modern musical theatre should have this in their collection. Just for moments like Hero and Leander and the text of Migratory V.

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only fan of this beautiful music! I actually walked down the aisle (at my wedding, of course) to "Hero and Leander". It was a horrible thing to do to the pianist to ask him to learn it, but he's a member of my band so he had no choice.

Adam Guettel is the most talented composer in musical theatre at the moment, in my opinion. His understanding of atonality and how it can create such haunting and interesting music is unparalleled. Love, love, love!

Beautiful wedding song. I suppose it would be handy if he was a family member or close friend, so he could sing the number himself. Such an 'angelic' voice!
