Jane was the hottest person in this cast!

I remember Ken Mandelbaum mentioned just what MichaelBennett is saying about Benanti, he said she sounded great but didn't look/acted like a 1960s Italian movie star. I love Shelley Burch in the OBCR, her "Unusual Way" is my favorite.
Any pictures of Luker in the role?
And I agree, Krakowski was the hottest in that cast.
Any reviews of Jenna Elfman aka Sara Gettelfinger as Carla?

One of my favorite costumes. It takes me 5 minutes just to fully take in that picture and examine the details.

Wasn't the costume the reason they didn't let the brilliant Anita Morris perform the number at the Tonys?
Tommy Tune said she was so brilliant that he let her choreograph "A Call from the Vatican," it still baffles me that she did not win a Tony for this role. I wonder what other great things she'd have done on Broadway if she were alive today.

Posted: 3/13/07 at 5:11amBack to Eartha Kitt, she was, as always, herself, with a French accent - which is to say terrific. Alas, she and Rebecca Luker and Sara Gettelfinger and Mary Stuart Masterson were stuck with John Stamos as a leading man, which brought everybody down.
