It's a HUGE place. Don't even think about getting anything other than front orchestra. Not worth it.
I am going this week! I can't wait.

It's only 4 or 5 blocks from Newark's Penn Station, but I would't walk back there at night. They have a Loop shuttle for now until they get the light rail running soon.
I'll be there tonight. Can't wait!
Let me know how it is! I have orchestra row g seats for friday night!

I've taken the PATH there from Manhattan to the last stop in Newark, on the red line, I think. Maybe 45 minutes. If you go from Midtown you need to change PATH lines at Journal Square. Then when you get to Newark you walk out of the train station at ground level, and just in front of the taxi stand a LOOP bus pulls up every once in a while. It's not a well marked stop, though.
Be patient. It's not real frequent. But it does arrive. Really. Ask the taxi dispatcher in the booth where to wait for the LOOP bus.
Bus fare is $1.10 and kids are half price. Exact change is needed, but bills and/or coins are fine. meanwhile, PATH is $1.50 each way, and the MetroCard works in the turnstiles now.
After the show, the LOOP bus sits patiently across the street from NJPAC until the show lets out, then it takes you right back to the PATH or NJ Transit. Don't even try to walk it. Also, that late at night it's faster to take the PATH from Newark back to World Trade Center than to transfer for the Midtown PATH line.
Oh, and MusicalsFan is right. You get 3rd or 4th level tickets and you'll need binoculars to see any facial expressions. It's almost as big as Radio City or the Met.

The shuttle is very efficient and costs only a dollar.
PS--The restaurant at NJPAC is very good!
I heard the show is subpar to say the least. I was going to make an effort to go see it, but its not worth it.
Thanks everyone. I could not get a ticket and if you have heard it is sub par, I will miss it.
Goodbye, good goody girl.
;-(
I saw Millie 6 times.

You couldn't get a ticket as in the show is sold out?
For CHICAGO tour when it was there two months ago, I walked up an hour before the show and got a ticket in front orchestra.
If you are willing to chance it, you'll probably be able to get a good seat.
