NY City Ballet rush?

I know this is BWW but sometimes I do see threads about other performances in NYC. Does anyone have any tips for discounted tickets for the NY City Ballet’s Nutcracker? Sadly I don’t qualify for $30 for 30 & under. Can a friend under 30 purchase a seat for me too?

What are other opinions? I’m not aware of any rush or SRO opinions like broadway shows, thanks!

I actually really wanted to see The Nutcracker so I did research on this. The NYCB doesn't offer standing room or rush for this show. They don't do the 30 Under 30 discount either. I was able to snag a ticket through TDF, but otherwise I haven't seen any discounts for this show.
