NY Lestat previews question

I'm hoping to be able to be in NY when the Lestat previews start in March and was thinking of buying a ticket. I have a question though, because I don't know much about previews. On the first previews in New York, will they actually perform the show as complete as possible in order to see if there are any things to be worked out, or will some cast members just come on stage and sing some songs?

It'll be fully staged. They're doing an out of town tryout right now that is also fully staged. Previews are used to see what elements of the completed show do and don't work. So while what you see in a preview may differ from what you see after opening, it's still a fully realised show.
