I feel like there was a lot of indecisiveness on the creative team's part that ended up hurting them in the long run. I feel very bad for Mr. Hoff, who has been scapegoated mercilessly.

Sounds like the Roundabout won't be getting the rights to any R&H-controlled musicals again anytime soon...
Any blame has to go on Mantello and Haimes. The production was poorly thought out from the start.

Wow-Could Haimes be any more thinly veiled in his appraisal of Hoff?
"discussing this only hurts Christian"!!!!! Wow.

Posted: 12/18/08 at 10:57amParticularly sad is the very nice interview in Playbill with Hoff concerning the hard work, love of theater and big break. Pity all Joey theatergoers will read about it this month before seeing the show. How can it not taint their experience?
