NY trip in March! Suggestions??

Ok, FINALLY making it to New York (second time actually, but it's been years). This will be my first time ever to see a Broadway show actually ON BROADWAY. Here's my agenda:

Definately seeing...
Avenue Q
Wicked (hard to get tickets for March right now??)
Spamalot

Then I'm pretty sure I want to see:
Little Women
All Shook Up
and possibly another...I don't know how long we are going....I'd kindof like to see Rent again or The Producers (but I know I will see this sometime in my life, tour or whatever)
Or should I see DRS? Fiddler?

Definately NOT seeing:
Lion King, Phantom, Chicago, Beauty & the Beast (seen em all)
Brooklyn
Mamma Mia!
Hairspray

Any suggestions welcome

I liked the Producers.

If you like Sutton Foster, check out Little Women.

If you're coming in March, I would definately check out Natasha Richardson in STREETCAR. That's the highlight of the season for me.

i would definitely suggest a non-musical play, especially if you've never seen one on b'way.

and if you're a fan of musicals, you MUST see FORBIDDEN B'WAY! (and they don't even pay me to plug their show ...)

I don't suggest Forbidden Broadway. I am a huge fan of just about every kind of musical and I didn' like it

Perhaps Hairspray just isn't their cup of tea?

I for one can understand. I've never had an interest in the show, Best Musical or not. I think Marissa's voice really turned me off the first time I heard "Good Morning, Baltimore."

Light in the Piazza will probably be the best musical of this season--personally I'd try hard to see it.

Streetcar seems a fairly sure bet.

Off Broadway I'm gonna once again recommened the Ahren/Flaherty (Ragtime) show, directed by Graciela Daniels, Dessa Rose.

Dessa Rose (Flaherty/Ahrens) at Lincoln Center
Light In the Piazza @ Lincoln Center
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels @ Imperial
Putnam County Spelling Bee @ Second Stage.

The big stuff will tour (Scoundrels probably will too). See these more eclectic pieces that you probably wouldn't see elsewhere. have fun. I'm also planning a trip for March/April.

im also going to NY in march! tickets for wicked shouldn't be hard to get right now cause idina is leaving in jan. even though u don't want to see hairspray, i would highly recommend it.
