NYC Trip Advice?

My friend and I are planning on going to the city for a weekend next month: arrive on Friday, stay until Sunday morning. I'm planning on seeing RENT, Spider-Man, and Jerusalem while I'm there, but I'm having trouble deciding on how I should purchase tickets. I'm probably going to get my RENT ticket through Telecharge since it doesn't cost as much as the other two shows and will probably sell out because of all the RENTheads. However, for Spider-Man I'm not sure if I should rush or go to TKTS (if it's there). I wanted to rush Jerusalem on Saturday, but after hearing that the Spidey rush seats aren't that bad I thought that might be a better choice (since most of their seats run $300 a ticket), but I also don't want to miss out on sitting in Rooster's Row at Jerusalem! I won't be able to rush one of them the first day I'm there because I won't arrive until around noon and from what I've heard rush tickets for those two shows are gone by then. I've never used TKTS before, so I'm not a hundred percent sure what to expect when I go. Would it be likely that Spider-Man would show up there? I've heard it has in the past.

I would definitely try for Spidey rush. I've done it twice and the seats really aren't bad at all -- and the rush seems kind of under the radar, so it isn't like you have to show up super-early as if you were at Book of Mormon or Jersey Boys in its heyday.

If you're very concerned about where you want to sit for Jerusalem, then I would just say to get the tickets on Telecharge. Do the same for RENT so you can guarantee your seats, but TKTS (or rush, as LizzyCurry said) Spider-Man.

Spider-Man rush is great, I've done it twice, sat in the first row of the flying circle (mezz) 1st time, and last row of orchestra the 2nd. Great seats both times, just missed a little flying.
Spider-Man is on TKTS sometimes, but not a lot and if it is, usually for only 30% off. You will save more by doing rush. Like someone said it is a little under the radar. You could get there at 9:00 for a 10 AM BO opening and be fine.
