Hey guys,
So my friends and i have a trip planned to NYC for the end of April! I am hoping to see as many shows as possible and have bought tickets for Wicked, Mamma Mia, Everyday Rapture, and Promises, Promises. The other shows on my list are:
- The Addams Family
- A Little Night Music
- American Idiot
- Hair
- In the Heihts
- Sondheim on Sondheim
I am just wondering for people who have been to these shows recently are the rushes and lottos crazy? We are all students (there are three of us) so we would be able to get student tickets but i am just wondering if i should be buying more tickets in advance.
Or if anyone can recommend any other shows to see that have somewhat easier rushes i would be willing to look into them too! I dont really care what i see, as long as i can see something!

Posted: 4/20/10 at 4:13pmWe tried Addams Family, but they only do rush tickets Tues-Thursday. However, they sell Standing Room tickets ($26.50) the day of when all tickets sell out (and they usually are right now - esp Fri-Sun shows). We got SR tickets for it at 11 am on Saturday for the matinee show. But they don't have many, so if you're really set on it, I'd show up as early in the day as you can and wait around. The box office people are nice and will tell you how many more tickets they have to sell until they can sell SR tickets.

Thanks for the help! I will defnitely keep that in mind but more than likely if i am going to the Addams Family I will be going during the week! I would be fine with SRO though! :) Just happy to see a show!
Thanks again!
