Has anyone else seen this? A friend I went today and loved it. LuPone was in absolute top vocal form (there was not a scoop or a trick to be heard) and looks incredible and Whelan's dancing was lovely and heartbreaking. LuPone said it's been booked for next season, and I already am ready to go again.
(The other three ballets we saw were also beautiful.)
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.
