So glad to read this deserving review.

I also enjoyed the straight-forward approach Neil Genzlinger took in his writing technique.

"Attention-getting performances by Matt Bauer as Nathan Leopold and Doug Kreeger as Richard Loeb are a large part of the reason: the only actors in the play, they are never less than compelling in relating how their characters came to commit one of the 20th century's most infamous crimes.

But credit as well Mr. Dolginoff's lean approach to the storytelling: he avoids indulging in psychobabble or preachiness, and - unlike a lot of playwrights - when the tale is over, he stops, without an extraneous word.

....

Others have told the tale in plays and films, but there is something brazenly satisfying about Mr. Dolginoff's rendition.

....

And every time Mr. Kreeger and Mr. Bauer blend their voices in close harmony, it's a reminder that evil often looks and sounds beautiful."
