NYU Tisch Summer Drama Program

I know that there are other threads but I don't want anyone to have to go all the way to the end and search for this. So my questions is: Has anyone ever done the high school Tisch summer program for Drama or Musical Theatre? I'm interesting in applying and want to know about some tutorials. Is it what you expected it to be? Are the teachers good? Is it a well reputable program? Should I be doing another program? Any responses would be greatly appreciated!

I am interested in their High school Musical writing program (specifically the book for a musical piece of it that they offer). I also would love to hear any feedback that anyone has. Thanks in advance.

I'm not replying to this thread but tagging along-- I'm also interested and going to apply for the musical theatre writing program (probably for book/lyrics) they have and would love to know if anyone has any info from experience...

You should try out forthe Broadway Theatre Project. It's $4000 less and you are with many broadway pros and ppl that are on broadway and everyone ive talked to loved it. if you have any questions im me at [e-mail], or go on the website broadwaytheatreproject.com

the teachers who teach summer @ NYU tisch are also on bway.. Alix Korey taught there this summer as well as a Guy who was in "Boy From Oz" and Elizabeth Hess who was Clarissas mom on "Clarissa explains it all" the summer program is wonderful but, the HS program does have less courses then the professional program.

I went to the Summer HS CAP21 Musical Theatre Program at Tisch this summer -- its incredible...It is not only great training and wonderful teachers, it really preps you for college and the college audition/training experience -- I'll be going to CAP21 for undergrad starting in the fall.
