I have a vague memory of someone in uni singing a song from a show that was about a shopping mall and people who were stuck in that mall I think....?? Any one know what this show is and what its called????

Evening Primrose? That was a made for TV musical by Sondheim about people living in a department store.

The songs usually done from that TV musical are "I Remember" (some might argue it is Sondheim's most heartbreaking ballad), and "Take Me to the World".
