Posted: 5/28/03 at 2:39amLiving in the UK, that's an easy one. Seen the show 3 times, it's very good, powerful music and performances. A very nice piece of theatre. Such a shame that they cut the song 'Annie Christmas' for the UK tour, it's my favourite! Updated On: 5/28/03 at 02:39 AM

But my heart says reach for the stars
And my heart I cannot deny.
Though it's my hard luck that I'm sorta stuck
On the farthest one in the sky.

I really dont know Tx 2, but how about LOST IN THE STARS, lol could be who knows...
Hard to believe you actually liked Whistle when my friend came back for the UK he actually talked really bad about the production, and worst of all talked about how horrible Glenn Carter was. Which is sad, I adore him in the JCS movie. Also couldnt they have gotten a better dialect coach?? LOL

Stevo, someone in another thread actually got that lyric..."The Other Side of the Tracks" from LITTLE ME. Congrats on even knowing who Kurt Weill might be, though.
I personally think WHISTLE could work, it has some good stuff, but needs a strong libretto rewrite and a good director. Webber is best when he is not the sole guiding talent in a production. His style and taste need leavening with other artistic opinions---when his collaborators are less a personality than he is, the overall product suffers.
