I admit I'm slow to criticize performers for being absent, but for heaven's sake, the guy gashed and bruised his leg. Calling him a diva for missing a little time is pretty spiteful.

Plum, I always think about those who wish to make a joke at an inappropriate moment or to criticize someone they don't even know and presume is trying NOT to do their job, and I hope for their sake that they never have to experience someone's public flogging of them...when they aren't there to defend themselves.

The internet makes it easy for us to put a buffer between our typing fingers and the rest of the world and therefore easier for those who don't stop and think to say whatever they wish without consequence and without having to look into the eyes of the person they are attacking.

Sad that our respect for others is not often seen for what it is: a mirror that reflects the respect we have for ourselves.
