I was driving home from New Jersey today and heard a radio bulletin that Nathan Lane had to withdraw from the London production of THE PRODUCERS because of a back injury. He's been ordered to have three months of rest before resuming any work.
Does this mean:
a) Brad Oscar is going to replace him in London sooner than expected?
b) Filming THE PRODUCERS is going to be postponed?
c) all of the above?

I think the bway.com or bww.com news article said 1) Brad is still replacing him on 1/10, but someone else is filling in the interim, and b) filming will continue as scheduled.

Yes, I've read the article and my beloved Cory English will be filling in until Brad Oscar takes over. For those who are unfamiliar with him, Cory was SENSATIONAL as Barnaby Tucker in the last Broadway revival of HELLO, DOLLY! He was also a stellar Protean in Nathan's FORUM cast.
I remember him quite well from Forum. He was a cutie.
What radio station announced this?
Various theatre boards confirm it now too. Check out www.whatsonstage.com
Oh dear, the Londoners will not be happy.

If he were that lucky, Will Farrell wouldn't be playing his part in the movie.
