This is exciting. These are two of my favorite actors doing my favorite play! These guys are becoming a new comedy team. Next they'll start doing Abbott and Costello remakes...

As good as they are, I probably won't go to see it. I think it would be more interesting for Nathan to play Felix and Matthew to play Oscar. Doing the reverse, it will look & sound like Max and Leo setting up house.

I believe the original idea was that at random performances they would switch roles. And I thought it was Joe Montello who was going to be directing and bringing out the underlying homoerotice subtext?

I don't think Broderick is a good enough actor to play "Oscar." I have only seen him in wimpy, nerdy roles. FERRIS BUELLER, GODZILLA, PRODUCERS...

they should definitely switch roles throughout the run. that would be so much fun. and they both need to stretch themselves :)

I do'nt think either of them are particularly talented - I've never enjoyed Nathan Lane onstage, he's always the same. It's just complete typcasting - I have a feeling I'll miss this one.
