National Tour stops

Generally, if a tour hits a city, how long until it returns to that city?

I was looking at the new listing of national tours (thanks BwayTheatre!) and most of the tours have been to Boston within the last few years. I'm trying to figure out which shows could be coming to Boston next season.

No, I meant like if (for example) Hairspray was in Boston in October of 2003. When will it be back in Boston? Is there like a special stipulation saying it can't be here for another x months?

And I know what you mean about The Lion King, its here for another 3 weeks, and its been here since July.
