I'm listening to the Cast Recording and there are (I think) three times that they use a "Dirty" word and every time I hear it I flinch. God Knows, I swear like a trucker, so it's not that I'm a Prude. It's just that this show seems like such a "Matinee" show that I'm surprised they drop a couple of F-Bombs. Rent, Taboo, Company, nothing shocks me.
It seems like a perfect show to take Mom to-- anyone know why they decided to go for a PG-13 rating?
I think most of the language comes from Freddy... he's not a very refined guy. Makes sense for him toss in a few dirty words.
Off the top of my head two are from Great Big Stuff.
There are surely some sexual words, and the s-bomb, but there's no f-word in the whole show... I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Not in Sara's song?
Hmm... ohhhh, yeah there is that one incident in Oklahoma?.
Yes the big f-bomb is dropped in Oklahoma?.

Oklahoma. "Shoot those little f*ckers heads clean off" was the line that caught my attention-- Not from Freddy, but from the "sweet lil thing."
Edited cause I checked the lyrics!

Plus, "Oklahoma" has some light-hearted Anti-Semitism.
The show is not and was not intended to be a "matinee" show. The humor is very sexual in several places, and very, very funny. Jolleene Ochs is not a "Sweet Little Thing" at all! Everything works really well for the characters but it seems like it is really a different show than you were expecting. I love it, but it is not "family friendly" although I don't actually think most of the stuff goes all that far.
How'd do you do? :)
Me? I'm doing well! Going to see Bee Friday night so that's fun.
y tu?
LOL, penguin, I was quoting from Ruprecht.
Aw-kward.
So nobody likes me I get it.
i learned more from that old broad than i've ever learned from YOU!
White Plains.
SIX HOURS!
The language is fine for the show. Not every production has to be fit for little kiddies.
