Need Advice...What Show To See In March...

My best friend and I are flying back to New York in March to see some shows like we did last year. We already have tickets to see Wicked and Light in the Piazza, but we have room for a third show as well. We do this thing where we get together to pick a show which is a mutual choice, which was Wicked, then she picks one alone, and I pick one alone. She picked Piazza, and I haven't made up my mind yet.

Spelling Bee, and Spamalot are both coming to Chicago soon, and neither will have cast members in them in New York in March that I just have to see. Dirty Rotten Scroundels will have a tour soon, which I'm sure will hit Chicago, and Sherie will not be there in March, so to me it's not an option for me. Threepenny Opera which is what I want to see, starts up the week after we get there, so of course that is out of the question too. Alot of the other musicals I've just already seen, so that narrows it down to three finalists.

The Color Purple, The Pajama Game, or Sweeney Todd?

I can only pick one, and right now I'm leaning towards Pajama Game. I've seen Kelli and Roz Ryan in other shows and loved them, and I'm curious about Harry Connick Jr. so that's where I'm leaning. What would you choose in my shoes, and why? Those who have seen the three would help most I suppose, lol.

Sweeney Todd! A cast that amazing will never be put together again. It's the best show of the season.

I agree that to the unitiated, Sweeney Todd could be confusing. But it really is a FANTASTIC show, and you should really go see it if you have the chance.
