I met him at the Edison Cafe yesterday. He is the sweetest guy I have ever met. I hope he is feeling better. He got the Matzah Ball Soup because he is fighting a cold.
He is very nice.

haha, I've seen the "Abuela" one before, but the Bet on It parody is awesome! ahhh- Truly genius.
EDIT: I'm still laughing about the Jonathan Groff cameo!! That was adorable!!

You THINK there have been threads on these before??? You're joking aren't you? They appear weekly ! Not to underestimate Lin's appeal or talent, but the shamleess plugging and promotion on this particular board for this show is very apparent. Aren't all the paid ads and banners enough? Jeez.

Nooo... I don't think that's what's going on at all. A lot of people like the show. A lot of YOUNG people like the show, because the show is being marketed well to them. These are the kind of people that a) post on message boards, in a majority, b) enjoy youtube, c) respond to viral marketing.
Lin and the Heights gang have put what seems to be genuine effort into promoting themselves through viral marketing... Their videos are well- liked, so people post about them. If there were youtube videos of a similar grassroots nature, made by another Broadway show, they would get an equal amount of attention.

Thank you, I wasn't trying to advertise or anything, I just thought you guys would enjoy it.
Though now that you mention it, it's pretty unique and a good advertising technique because it intrigues people

I prefer In The Heights's interesting and creative promotion on BWW than the shameless favoritism shown towards Xanadu.
Search for "Freestyle Love Supreme" on YouTube for Lin-Manuel with no In The Heights promotion.

I love those videos, although I think the "Abuela " one is probably my favorite.

I showed my choir these today because I was telling them about my trip to nyc last weekend... they loved them! Especially the "Bet On It" one 
Lin is such a nice, cool guy. I was so happy I got to meet him cause he really is brilliant. I can't wait to see what he does next.
