Need Help with a Specific Song for My Upcoming Cabaret Show

Hello Everyone,

I’m working on a cabaret show and I’m needing to find a song with a very specific subject matter.

I need to find a song which deals with children becoming the caretakers of elderly parents.

Somebody has already suggested “Fathers of Fathers” from Closer Than Ever, but I’m hoping to find other options.

Any helped would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how much specific "story telling" you're looking for, and this may have no relevance, but I always thought "Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd could easily relate to this issue.

Fathers and Sons from Working '92, and A Pretty Good Day from Working '12 are both options.

LOL!

"Nothing's Gonna Harm You" has great posibilities!.....I don't suppose anyone has a good set of German lyrics for it or knows of a good German version...not just a translation.
