My husband and I are planning a Labor Day weekend theatre trip. We already have tickets for Priscilla and Book of Mormon. I was looking into tickets for Catch Me. We refuse to support the asinine premium seating construct. I can get Row A for Catch Me but know from past experiences that front row can be problematic depending on the particular theatre. I have no experience with the Neil Simon (of if I have seen a show there, I don't remember). Anyone familiar enough with this theatre to have an opinion on Row A seats in center orchestra? These aren't considered "premium". Any advice is much appreciated!

I have heard that for this particular show, the first row is fine, though I sat in row U this week and appreciated being a bit farther back for this particular show.

So you were able to see and hear everything clearly in Row U? We typically try to get be as close as possible without paying premium prices. What did you think of the production overall? Would you recommend it? We live in Columbus, Ohio, and only get to NYC once a year or every other year, so we have to be picky about which shows to see.

We've got tickets for Book of Mormon on Sunday afternoon and for Priscilla on Saturday night. If you had to choose between Sister Act and Catch Me, which would you choose? Or is there something else that you would classify as a can't miss?

I could see and hear everything very clearly from U, other than a tiny bit of the top of the stage, on which nothing happens.
I wouldn't necessarily feel the need to be that far back, but I opted for those seats because they were in the center and on the discount code. I'd say for this show it's better to be in the center than terribly close.
And as far as the show itself goes, I really enjoyed it. Haven't seen Sister Act (I have tickets for a few weeks from now), but based on the response on here, it's great as well. I'd say if you're a fan of the creators and the material, go for it. But, at this point, probably just pick whichever show appeals to you most.
I understand the part about being limited by the number of shows you can see per year (I'm from Ohio as well!), but you have already made good choices. Loved Book of Mormon and Priscilla, and it would probably be a real toss-up if I had to choose between Catch Me and Sister Act.
I liked Sister Act a heck of a lot more than Catch Me If You Can, but that's just one opinion...many here feel differently!
