IVe sat there for lion king and it was pretty good in terms of seeing everything, but the actors look like dots in the distance. but from what i have heard of MP, there is a scene invlocing dancing on the proscenium that i think you will see good from the balcony since you have nothing blocking you.

At least for Lion King, some of the views from the balcony (rear, side) are obstructed due to a pole. I honestly wished the pole would have been bigger at the time so I did not have to see the atrocities on the stage, but you should be fine if the seats are in the front and/or center. Still, its pretty far from the stage.

avoid it at all costs. Far too cramped, even for people in good shape. The pitch is too steep, I felt like I was gonna fall onto pride rock at any moment. It also ruins alot of the magic cause most of the mechanics are in full sight. Don't know if that will be the same with MP, but I'd say even sitting under the balcony on the floor would be better. Honestly I stood for Lion King the first time I saw it (second time was against my will) and liked that far better than sitting in the balcony.

Beware the New Am balcony. As someone has already stated, the pitch is QUITE steep. If you're uncomfortable with heights, you're not going to be happy up there. In my opinion, you're also going to be a little bit too far away from the action on stage. The theater is enormous. (How else could an entire TREE grow up through the orchestra section if the space wasn't cavernous??)

Enjoy the show.

Oh Dear...I bought two tickets in row J over a month ago. Sucks, but I guess that's what I get for the money. Although row J isn't even the cheap seats. Row J is $40 a seat. Sucks!

ThankstoPhantom

^ What seat are you sitting in? I sat in that row rfor TLK back in 1999 when it was $25 (amazing how they raised that one) and I didn't have one of the pillars in my way.

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

So, I should be good in the Last Row Center of the Balcony for Mary Poppins? I have an aisle which is good.
