Bringing the family to see Aladdin and have seats in Mezz Row CC and now Mezz Row AA is available. Does anyone know if the bar obstructs the view in row AA? What about leg room? I have looked at some photos on Yelp and View from my seat but it is difficult to tell. Children are teens and barely 5 feet, just want to make sure they can see for all the $$$
Any advice, info appreciated. THANKS!

I was in BB and the bar was obstructing a child (maybe 5 years old). The mother didn't stop her from standing up, sitting on her knees, and basically doing anything and everything to see over the bar throughout the show, which, in turn, obstructed my Dad's view.
Honestly one of my biggest pet peeves is the bar rail at theatres that causes the "lean forward" effect. People sitting in the front row with the bar lean forward/ sit forward the whole time causing everyone behind them to do the same.
So to answer your question - the bar appeared to get in a child's way but not an adult (mother maybe 5'2".) but if you're worried about someone blocking your view maybe get AA.

Thanks for letting me know what you saw - I think I will upgrade the seats.

When I was down at the New Amsterdam, staring at this yellow-haired girl, Mr. Jones strikes up a conversation with a black-haired flamenco dancer, and she dances while her father plays guitar. She's suddenly beautiful. Well, we all want something beautiful. Man, I wish I was beautiful...

I'm only 5'10" and the leg room in the front row was terrible.
go for CC and if the child is too small, just get a booster seat from the ushers
