Hey All -
I'm looking into booking a pair to MARY POPPINS sometime this spring, and I'm wondering if anyone could help me out. Having NEVER ventured inside the New Amsterdam before, I'm curious as to what the orchestra lay-out looks like. I only ask because going by the various seating charts I've looked at online, NONE of them match-up. Center Orchestra, specifically. In what order do the rows go exactly? Where does it start? AA? A? B? I keep getting mixed signals - and of course - Ticketmaster's NO HELP whatsoever.
Any and all insight appreicated.
Best,
- Mike

Are you looking to sit center orch? Because I would suggest center mezz.

I would go with mezz on this one, because the set is so vast, you need to be farther back and higher up to really appreciate it. But that map of the theater that TimeSquare3 posted will definitely help out.
Keep in mind- the seeats in the mezz and balcony of the New Amsterdam get a bit cramped. People have been known to go home with aching knees.
Whatever your choice, have fun and enjoy!

The orchestra starts in Row B, I saw it from Row D centre orchestra and had trouble seeing the Banks children on the balcony of the house, but that was for less than a minute, overall I loved the view!
Ah! Starts at Row B, eh? Interesting.
How many seats are in C-ORCH Row B, anyway?

There was an average amount, but it was over a year ago so I don't want to give you an inaccurate answer, but we were the two aisle seats and it still felt like "centre orchestra", if that helps.
