New Broadway Season Kick off Concert

Hello,

A while back I read an article on Playbill.com about a free concert in times square on Sept. 12 that will kick off the new Broadway Season. Has anyone heard anything about this? Is it still a go? Have they announced who will be performing? Please help me.

its called Broadway on Broadway and will be on sept. 12 at 11:30 am in times square. wayne brady and christy carlson romano are hosting the show which includes performances by the casts of Avenue Q

About how long is Broadway on Broadway live, before they make all the cuts to put it on TV?
