New Elphaba announced yet?

Okay, I know people are freaking out because this is the MILLIONTH thread on this, BUT...I read on "The Boy From Oz" message boards last night that Stephanie J. Block has gotten the offer:

"Steph turned down the first offer, but they ultimately were able to work it out and she will be the next Elphaba. I would imagine they will announce it shortly, but it is going to happen. I believe January 11 is her first date."

um, FYI to those who are being complete jerkoffs about this thread, I only posted after checking the first couple pages of the message board for the older threads I'd seen on this - so I checked first, there was nothing, don't get all "there are a million messages" and "this is why I dont' visit the main board" anymore on me.

Don't visit this thread if you're sick of hearing about it. There are PLENTY of threads on here that I couldn't possibly care less about and I'm sick of hearing about them, but you don't see me running up in there giving them crap about it.

And I concur that Chita and Carol need to take over in this show. That'd be sweet like my dreads. Huzzah.

I saw him in Central Park in 2001. He was sitting on a bench taking a breather near the sidewalk behind the Met. I was standing 10 feet away and started trembling. My friend was saying, "How do you know it's really him? Do you know how many men in NYC look like that? All dark and muscle-y?" And I went, "Sweetie, after you've seen someone pee on DVD, you develop a sense that allows me to identify him from ANY PART OF HIS BODY." But he was sweaty and in a tank, because I think he was jogging, and I chickened out from approaching. To this day, it's one of my biggest celebrity-related regrets.
