New FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Documentary opens Friday ( loved it)

FIDDLER'S JOURNEY TO BIG SCREEN a documentary on the making of the film FIDDLER ON THE ROOF opens Friday in NYC. I got a sneak peak because I know one of the distributors and I loved it. It has amazing background material on the production and interviews with nonagenarians  Shelden Harnick, Norman Jewison & John Williams as well as Topol who is a mere 86 ( and still very handsome), and many others.. The film focuses on the 3 actresses who played Teyva's daughters and two of them, Neva Small ( Chava) and Rosalind Harris ( Tzeitel)  and the director will be at the evening shows on Friday & Saturday at Angelika Film Center. It opens in LA next week and around the country in coming weeks.
