New Mamma Mia Cast is gorgeous =D

I saw Mamma Mia yesterday (the new cast's first performance) and started a site, but it got buried, I think. :)
I absolutely loved Carolee---her personality, voice, etc.
Aaron is beautiful to look at, but I miss Joe. Aaron's voice was a bit flat at times----but he seemed personable. The two women friends (Liz McCarney and I forget the other name) were good---I enjoyed Liz a little more. (But no one will replace Judy Kaye IMO). Sara Kramer (I think that's the correct name) as Sophie resembled Tina Maddigan, but her voice was totally different. I really really missed Michael Benjamin Washington (but look forward to seeing him in "La Cage") and the actor who played Eddie. (I'm forgetting names---sorry).
All in all-----very enjoyable---I personally liked this cast alot more than the replacement cast that just ended. (Just my opinion)---But, I still think the original cast had a special chemistry.
I would love to hear other opinions!

Caught one of the last performances of the departing cast last week, and my favorite aspect of the entire eveing was Joe Machota's wonderful energy and charming turn as "Sky", he was a delight in what is in many ways a classic "thankless role".

I look forward to seeing him behind the footlights very soon, heck I might even try and catch Greenwillow this weekend.

And I didn't even mention him in his MammaMia speedo, see, I'm not so shallow afterall!

Thank god that awful girl "Jenny Felner" who played Sophie is gone. I hope the sanitized the theatre from awful talent after the cast left.

How was Sarah Kramer? I've done a few shows with her and know that she's extremely talented. But have only heard her as a soprano. is she good?

Joe Machota was Sky for three years straight. That's quite impressive. He made the role of Sky more than just a pretty face and made you think at the end, is Sophie stupid for not marrying this great guy? HAHA Good luck trying to fill his Speedo.

I've heard good things about the new Dynamos and Dads. I'll have to check them out soon.

I thought Sara Kramer was ok. Her voice, at times, was very good (and strong). But her facial expressions bordered on "mugging". (IMO)
