Does anyone have details of the new tour. Ive been trying to find cast information but have had no luck. Is there anyone from the original tour?
Glad they are coming to Boston in '09

Can't help with your question, but just wanted to chime in that Michael Cavanaugh (the lead from the Broadway show) was just in Buffalo last weekend performing songs from the show with his band AND the Buffalo Philharmonic, in a show called “A Tribute to Billy Joel”.
It included most of the songs from the show, and a couple out of place selections from Elton John for some reason.

He was in Baltimore a few weeks ago, performing with the BSO SuperPops.
The concert was incredible, a great mix of Billy Joel, Elton John (as a tribute to the Face To Face tours), and a few of Michael's original songs from his new CD.
A great part of the experience was being able to meet him at a CD signing after the show, since I didn't get the chance when I saw Movin Out on Broadway in 2005 (my first Broadway show).
I don't know how the tour is going to be, but I look forward to seeing it when it comes to Baltimore in May.

Hey fan!
I'm not sure of the new cast of dancers, but from what I have heard they are excellent (this coming from someone who has been involved with the show for years and is very discriminating)! I do know that Matthew Friedman, who was the "Piano Man" on part of the first national tour and led the second national tour is joining the newest tour part time. I also believe that Kyle Martin, Matthew's alternate on the second national, will be doing the same. The OBC is a bit old to continue with their roles, and they have all moved on to bigger and better at this point. The cast of the most recent tour (if I am not mistaken) all decided to move on, so the new cast is all new and fresh! But no matter what, the show will ROCK and should not be missed!
On another note, Michael Cavanaugh performed his CD release party at BB King's in NYC last night, and what an AMAZING show! I don't know how it could be possible, but it seems that he has become even more exciting of an entertainer than in the Movin Out days! Tommy Byrne (BJ's guitarist) joined him on the stage for a few songs, and John Scarpulla (the Saxist from Movin Out and also Billy's band) was rockin the stage all night! The new CD is wonderful, and it was an evening of perfection!

The show is being put on here in St. Louis on November 1 and 2. I don't know any details of the cast, but if I do find that out, I will be sure and post it on here.
