Here are arts/theatre events I am aware of on New Years Eve in the evening ...

1)HMS Pinafore at Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (NYU) - the Gilbert and Sullivan Players
2)The Invisible Hand at NY Theatre Workshop
3)NY Phil special one night Gershwin themed performance with Norm Lewis
4)Met Opera performing The Merry Widow

Many shows have New Years matinees.

Thanks both, great info.

More than I can say about Fishermen Bob, who is a one of a kind in the way he thinks of himself, as being so smart, but it is only him who thinks that. In another thread his grievous nastiness was all transparent, when he resorted to the absolute lowest of message board behaviour, which resorted in him sending others abusive and insulting personal messages, which the receiver posted on here.
