This summer me, my BFF, and my sister are planning to go to New York. Does anybody have any suggestions on hotels we can stay at?
Thanks.

How much can you spend a night?
Do you want to be close to Times Square or are you ok having to walk/subway a distance?
What types of activities or restaurants do you want to be close to?
Big or little hotel? Are you ok being on a high floor?
Your answers will help folks give you the best advice for you.
Enjoy your trip!

Times Square there is St James Hotel on 6fh and 45th. Budget. Also Hotel Milburn on the upper west side, 76th and Broadway, with free breakfast and close to subway, Fairway market etc.

Not the swankiest by any means, but usually a good deal;

Check their rates closer to the time you want to book.

I've stayed at Club Quarters (45th between 5th and 6th) a few times. This is generally a hotel reserved for companies who have time share-like rooms to put up their frequent out of town business travelers. (There's probably an industry name for hotels like this.). Anyway since most business travel is during the week they are eager to fill rooms on the weekend to the general public, and I've always gotten good rates, low to mid $100. The rooms are teeny tiny but cozy and clean, so if it's only a place to sleep it should work. And they are close enough to Times Square to quickly get to shows and the action but yet the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet so sleeping is undisturbed.
