Ok, so for my parent's 25th anniverssary, my entire family, including many family friends, chipped in to give my parents a great vacation. Just so you know, we've been saving all year, and though we wanted to go to Vegas and see Ka and Phantom, we found we were a little short, and decided to go to New York, instead. We'll be staying a good four avenues from Time Square, but my parents are fine with walking. Here's our trip in a nutshell:
Tuesday 8/19: Avenue Q 8:00
Wednesday 8/20: Radio City Stage Door Tour 11:30
Wicked (The first time I've ever bought premium seats for $130 each) 2:00
Then, my parents are going to eat at Sardis, while my brother and I go and see Young Frankenstein. 8:00
Thursday 8/21:
Here's the thing, we had wanted to do two tours on this day, and go see Xanadu that night, but since my parents need to prepare for us going down the shore next week, we'll be skipping Xanadu (Thankfully I didn't buy tickets) and most likely just going to the Empire State Building.
So there's our trip. I know it's not an incredible amount, but it's still something, no?
