Okay, since someone posted earlier, a question about The Time Hotel, I thought that I would ask about The Hotel Casablanca. Has anyone on this board stayed there and if so, how was your experience? Everything looks interesting on their web site but I'm looking for someone who has actually stayed there to give me some information on their stay.

Never been there but I have had great experiences at Hotel 41 at Times Square. The one right next to the Nederlander (Rent is playing there). Small but very clean..continental breakfast, belgiun linens and an nice clean bathroom! It runs 119-158 a night usually in the busy season. Go to hotels.com or another discount online site.

If you want a good hotel right in Times Square get a room at the Best Western. It is right near the Hershey Store. The rooms are clean and it's within walking distance to everything and it's not alot of money.

Thanks showstopper and Singingbackup! This hotel is already booked and paid for so I'm not really looking for other hotels or deals but was really trying to fine out what I might be in for when I get there. Thanks for the responses and I'll definitely keep your recommendations in mind for future trips.

If you go to Tripadvisor.com and type in the hotel they have reviews for almost any hotel in New York City. It is a great website for travel information. I looked just to make sure they had Hotel Casablanca and it looks like it has good reviews. Have a great trip! I'm going this week Wednesday through Sunday.

Just got back from NYC Friday...stayed at The Belvedere on 48th between 8th and 9th. $150.00 a night, very clean, doorman, wonderful staff, microwave, small frig in room, large rooms, small bathrooms but walked to all the theatres even to the Empire State building. Great location on tree lined street with market right around the corner. here is a fire station close by so take ear plugs and request upper floor. We were on the 14th floor. Highly recommend!
