Calling all New Yorkers, and those who frequently travel there.
I live in Arkansas and try to go to NY at least once a year. I've gone several times, but have never stayed at a hotel called THE TIME HOTEL.
Does anyone know about this hotel? I've found good rates online and it seems like a decent place. Any opinions or advice on this hotel or others would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It's 1am on a Sunday. You're not going to get much of a response until later.
Have you tried Frommers or Fodors to see if they've done a review or have anything on their message boards?

No, I haven't. thanks, that's a good idea.
I know it's late, even though for me, I'm an hour earlier than the east. Just thought I'd see tonight. I'll probably try again tomorrow.
It was the restaurant that closed.

I've never heard of it , but found several links on Google.

Saw a special on this hotel on Travel Channel's "Great Hotels" show with that awful woman. It looks like a very nice hotel adjacent to the Caroline or Change Theatre and very stylistic. Very contemporary with a large glass facade in front. That's all I can remember. It's definitely a nice hotel.
I've stayed in The Time Hotel and it's in a great location for Broadway Shows and it's a nice and clean hotel BUT they have the smallest rooms of any hotel that I've ever stayed in in New York.
I haven't been there in a few years so it could very well be closed.
But when I was there...besides having very small rooms, their room service was lousy.

Thanks for all the input. This hotel must be open. It is listed on Expedia, Hotels.com and others.
Small rooms don't bother me. I'm only there to sleep a few hours. Anyone else know about the TIME HOTEL?

I recommend it highly if you have good rates. It's very hipster, but the staff isn't snotty. They're kind of like, "Isn't this hipster stuff funny?" They have cool outfits and the rooms, though small, have lots of neat touches. Like the fact that you have to pick a room color theme, red, blue or yellow. Check out some online reviews of which are the bigger of the rooms, I believe it's the blue but I can't remember.
The rms are tiny but very "hotel elegant" individ bathrobes cute colour themed rms ( & fragrances!) Staff were very friendly Bar is abit too dark for my taste & a bit "chi chi" moderne style but great location. Oh yeah the views are typical airshafts & the lowest price rms I believe only have showers, But if the price is right!
