New York People...I need pictures of Broadway & Hollywood Star

I will be in New York City in three weeks.......Is there any shops that sell Broadway and Hollywood trivia?.....Thanks

Tons of places sell that crap. Try Colony Records at Broadway & 49th Street.

Ohhhh Pleaseeeeee...You mean there is only one shop....Come on people I need help here...I will be in your city for the first time....This is like my lifetime dream...and I am coming from the West Coast and I am getting on a fricken plane(****)...I am scared to death....I want somes post cards or pictures of stars.....Where do I go for the best prices...I even have my map by the computer....Thank to anybody....

The BEST place by far to get stills, posters and more about movie stars is Jerry Ohlinger's Movie Material Store, on 242 W. 14th St. (4th Ave.) It's not cheap, but it has some cool rare things.
And as mentiond, Colony Records is GREAT.

I remember Colony having loads of autographed headshots, posters, vintage collectables, etc. Like the CDs, most of the stuff was pretty pricey. They have a reputation of marking up astronomical amounts because they're located so close to Times Square.

For posters, the best place by far is Triton Gallery at 323 West 45th Street. There is a map on their web site.

There are many Broadway souvenir stores in and around Times Square. Two that come to mind are the one on the ground floor of the Marriott Marquis hotel on Broadway between 45th and 46th and the one next to the St. James Theatre on 44th Street. There are also many other general souvenir shops where you can find lots of postcards of New York. Truly, don't worry about not finding one. Walk around for ten minutes and you will stumble across several.

If you are going to be downtown, stop by Footlight records at 113 East 12th Street. You will find the biggest collection of cast recordings and movie soundtracks that you can imagine.

The store next to the Mariott Marquis is great. I don't believe they have autographs, but they have t-shirts, hats, and mugs from almost every show currently on Broadway. They have a large collection of souvenir programs as well, many from shows that closed a long time ago. Lots of good stuff there!
