Well with the Tony's almost here lets start thinking of the future! What shows are folks looking forward to? Myself? Well Dracula sounds spooky, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was a favorite childhood book, and Spamalot what can I say I hope I can camp out to get opening night seats! Roudabout will be doing Pacific Overtures. Once again too many shows and not enough time or money.

How come I'm not excited over next years musicals as I was this years? Doesn't sound like a thrilling Broadway year to me.

I am looking forward to Spamalot and Chitty and I really hope Wildhorn finally hits a homerun with Dracula. Catch Me if You Can and Masada sound intriguing. I'm not too interested in All Shook Up, The Frogs or Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, but I would go see them out of curiosity. I would love to see good revivals of West Side Story and Sweet Charity. I saw Pacific Overtures in Chicago and I would love to see it again. It's such a fascinating show. But who knows what will be announced and what will actually open? What else was rumored? I can't remember them all.

I am wondering w/ the popularity of Monty Python, if they will be offering group discounts? I can easily get 20 people to this show!

"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D

I am more excited for the new season then I was for this one.

BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"
