Ok I dont see this anywhere but I went to see Newsical tonight (great show - I highly recommend it) and Johnny said to spread the word that he has a new website. It is www.johntartagliaonline.com and it should be up tomorrow night or friday.

Thanks for the heads up! I have been checking back at his old one and I have been so sad that it's down. I can't wait!

That site had some sort of strange band poster on it.
For the heck of it, I tried www.johntartaglia.net and there is what appears to be the start of a new site...
Maybe this is what the address is??

Anybody have any news about this site? I was just assuming that he was having technical difficulties so that was why it is still down. Maybe when Newsical closes? Well, thnks in advance for any info.

all I see is a blank page at his old website

a website does not put out spam; spammers do

and it'll happen with his new website too

the spammers will take the @johntartagliaontheweb.com and add a bogus name in front it to spew out the spam

happens with every single website out there

Re: why the new web address, I'm guessing: John's old site was built and maintained by an outside web designer (not John, himself). I think the word was that the old web designer went AWOL. Apparently, John got someone new to build/maintain the new site. My guess is that the old web designer, not John, held the rights to the old web address, so they had to come up with a new address for the new site. Just guessin'.
