Hi everyone! I've been lurking around this site/board for a while now (and enjoying the conversation immensely!) and after reading the delightful "Newbies are welcome" post, I figured WHY NOT? So Hello....Wilkommen...Good day Starshine..whatever your preferred greeting may be!

Lil bit about me, I'm 22 and getting ready to graduate (in December) from Michigan State University. I grew up doing professional theatre and I'm currently working with a funky Michigan theatre troupe while I finish up school. Has anyone seen The Producers tour? I'm supposed to see it here in town at the Wharton Center in December, and was just wondering if it's up to snuff. Lets see....what else? I spent my 16th birthday at Rent, My 19th birthday at Les Miserables, and to answer a previous post, last Halloween we opened a production of 'Caligula' and I played a patrician. :)I just finished playing Keely in "Keely and Du," and now Im working on creating a cabaret fundraiser for my group, which I am sure I will have questions about which I would love the expert advice of the Theatre-philes on this board:)

Oh, and I think we should run Raul Esparza for President!

Well thank you for that superfast response. Despite the fact that I've never actually done the show, I love Pippin. Probably the most listened to soundtrack in my car...and with Tick, Tick Boom in there as well, that's saying something.

However, in a nod to your pic, I also adore Avenue Q! I went to Interlochen Arts Camp with Barrett Foa for a couple summers, and I'm really thinking of trying to get my butt to NYC in the hopes of seeing him.
