Why is this out before the curtain even goes up??
Unless I missed it, there is absolutely no mention Of Doug Sills who is one of the reasons to see it. Hello, where was this reviewer when Sills came out on stage?

There is a mention!
(Not a big one, but...)

Odd...hm. If only I could see it. I'm going to NYC in March...so...hmm..
...and argh, the Coral Gables' version is always referred to a disaster. *sigh*

Oops, I missed it but still he deserved more than 1 line. I would like to see him in the Richard Kiley part & Nathan Lane in the Buddy Hackett part in " I had A Ball. Love the score

very often if a reviewer has a conflict on opening night, they'll come earlier, but the reviews themselves aren't supposed to come out early.
Reviewers are permitted to attend the five performances prior to opening night in order to write their review. It would be impossible for someone to see a show ending at 9 pm and be expected to write a coherent review in a couple of hours. Opening night is for the stars and media.
Variety gives Sills more than a line, but it is negative! Oh, well.
Where is the Variety review? And is it negative for the whole show or just Sills?
Can you post what was said about him that was negative? Wow, that I am having troouble believing. I saw the show yesterday and enjoyed it a great deal overall. Not everything, but mostly everything.
