Newsies Rush

Hey everybody,
I apologized if this has been discussed before, I tried searching for an answer but couldn't find anything.
I want to do the Newsies Rush tomorrow to surprise somebody with tickets, I was wondering what will be a good time to get there to secure tickets? In case I couldn't secure them, what other affordable alternatives do I have?

If you check the rush report on BroadwaySpotted, it tells you what your chances are of getting tickets based on people trying to get them last week. There were 67 people in line by 9:10 AM and the first person was in line at 6:00 AM. I rushed Mamma Mia on Thursday and sat behind a girl who got Newsies rush the day before for the evening show on Wednesday and she got in line I think around 7:30 or 8 am and barely got tickets.

Wow, that's early! Thanks for the info. Shouldn't Monday be easier?

Well, since Newsies is closing, I think it will be hard anytime and since most shows don't have shows on Monday, it may be even harder. I don't know for sure though. Good luck on getting tickets.
