Has anyone done the lottery for Newsies?
I'm curious as to how busy it was, chance of getting a ticket (for a Wednesday matinee), and where the seats are located (partial view?)

I did the lottery rush the first Friday of April I believe, and won. I only needed one ticket, and my seat was in the last row of the orchestra, right next to the sound booth. It was perfect.
My friends that have won have sat everywhere from first/second/third rows extreme partial view, and then the last few rows of the mezz. I've *heard* the partial view in the orchestra is horrendous, but it's up to you whether you want to take the chance. If you can, go solo!
You will probably just get a great unsold single seat somewhere in the house, like I did!
If you don't want to risk it, you can also do Standing Room. The line forms when the lottery begins taking names. That view is great as well!
