I was just wondering what are the shows next year that everyone is wanting to see. I was really looking forward to Jerry Springer, but that is going to be yet another year. And I am hoping The Wiz will still open next year. I love the music in that show! Just wondering what everyone else was wanting to see...
You might get a gauge by the last poll that ran

Oh...sorry...I didn't see that poll. Thanks! I forgot about Dracula! That should be neat. I always liked Jekyll and Hyde.

"Pacific Overtures" and "Brooklyn". I'm very excited for a "West Side Story" revival. I also am looking forward to "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" for reasons of which I am still not sure.

Hmmm... did you love the film? Do you love the music? Maybe the inner child in you wants to see the car actually fly? ![]()
On the same topic... Anyone know when Spamalot may be opening?
This one could be a ton of fun9 At which there will be much rejoicing!)
I think I'm looking most foward to seeing "La Cage Aux Folles" and "All Shook UP"!

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Lithgow probably into the Imperial in the fall or winter 2004/05.

I'm really not sure why - it's probably the Sherman brothers music and my undying passion for "Mary Poppins" that automatically includes "Chitty". Maybe I should finally see that ever elusive film version... And yes, I think seeing a car fly would be merely marvelous. Hehe!
Oh, and I also am looking forward to "La Cage". It's exciting that it's being revived, though I would really appreciate a new Jerry Herman musical.

Lots of plays are coming too, including Democracy, The Pillowman, and Reckless with Mary-Louise Parker.
