(okay, yes a Funny Girl reference in the title)

Just saw the Access Hollywood piece on Nikki Blonksy the girl who will play Tracy in the movie of "Hairspray" and I was correct in my assumption that this is a very young girl. It explains why they cast such a young girl as Amanda Bynes as Penny. The other thing is, this girl is seriously talented. She sings a few barsfrom the opening number and certainly has the chops for the part. Try and catch the show (June 15th version).
