I found Gettlefinger's acting and singing FAR superior to Jane's. I was at the performance where Jenna Elfman was supposed to go on, but Sarah went on instead and it was her first time every performing the role in front of an audience and she was fantastic. I thought she had more depth.
I disagree with Anita Morriss. She may have been so "divine" in the role because she was the first to do it. I didn't find her acting and especially her singing better than Jane or Sarah - I thought her acting and singing were quite bland, actually. Except for her "gymnastics" during VATICAN, she was nothing brilliant.

There's nothing wrong with the part of Claudia - she's certainly a smaller role than the others, and I think she was left out of the nominations because Benanti did not stand out in the show. Although Benanti was leagues better than Rebecca Luker, there was still something missing from her performance. However, I would have nominated Benanti over Ashley Tuttle for MOVIN OUT. If it were up to me, MS Masterson would have won the Tony - she deserved it more than anyone else.
